    Name: Coding Challenges Camp
    Date: August 3, 2020 - August 6, 2020
    Event Description:
UWM at Waukesha's Summer STEM University Youth programs provide fun, safe, hands-on learning environments in which children ages 8 to 14 learn the 4C’s – communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. Our goal is to foster success and individual growth by teaching foundational skills that children can build on throughout their lives. The week of August 3-6th, students will participate in a variety of Coding Challenges which includes WeDo (ages 8-11) or Mindstorm (ages 11-14) Robotics and Scratch (ages 8-11) or Python (ages 11-14) coding. Coders will create programs that are interactive, informative, engaging and FUN! From games to stories, to videos and music, the possibilities are only as limited as our student’s creativity! Students of all learning levels are welcome to participate! We offer both full-day and half-day programs for our area's youth. Camps will be held on campus at our UWM at Waukesha campus on University Drive in Waukesha. For more specific information or to register, click the link below or email us at continuing-ed@uwm.edu.
